以下是Albert 告別傳說進階分會會長職務的感性演說,有空請到傳說進階分會和Albert Wu聊聊,他會告訴你更多Toastmasters的趣事。

I don't have a name and in here Toastmaster is my name.
16 years ago, I was a college boy who carried a basketball and unexpectedly ran into a meeting room called ChungLi Toastmaster. Sixteen consecutive years of being a Toastmaster, I'm still learning how to be a successful one, to talk with people, to work with people, to communicate with people, even to inspire people to become better persons of themselves. So Thank you, Toastmasters. I've taken so much from you and if there's even 1% of my life that can be remembered as Toastmasters. I truly feel grateful for that.
I don't need a name. Legend gives me the name.
YZU Club was chartered 14 years ago, and in the year of 2004, the elite leadership of YZU Club called for a further step to organize the first advanced club in Taoyuan Area. Those (chartered) members included Josh, Hecate, and Jack Tsai. Especially, here Josh, could you please stand up and accept our appreciation? Without this "Grandpa", your grandchildren won't be sitting here and listening to my speech today. Thank you, Josh !! With your continuous support year after year, we still have our name proudly as Legend Toastmasters. I don't choose my name. My name has been chosen by each of you. Thank you for choosing me as your President and gave me this wonderful chance to serve this club. It's never easy, in the past year, as we were confronted with difficulties in maintaining membership and meeting quality. But it's always joyful when together we've created lots of good memories, hosting the Division E Contest, book exchange session, different theme meetings, internal training, etc. Though I didn't succeed in bringing more than 20 members to join legend, we've learned, worked together and had fun.
Luckily now we are looking at the future of Legend Toastmasters. A special thank to new President Sandy and your team; thank you for your unselfishness and willingness to serve and to lead us in the year to come. With a brand new idea of meeting format, I believe our idea and passion will continue to spread. Let's have the legend continue.
Now if you ask me what's the most important thing after all these years, I really hope it will be a journey that never ends. Toastmasters allows me to have the privilege and ability to exploit my crazy creativity & goodwill to help people. Then I can see smiles on all of your faces. Let's play, have fun and enjoy being Toastmasters.
I don't have a name. I'm your good friend.
My name is Albert Wu. 2017/7/2

Hello, Italy! A Snapshot of YZU Toastmasters Meeting (2017-07-22)

YZU Toastmasters在7/22以Hello, Italy為主題,一起渡過了一個歡樂的週末午后。總主持人(Toastmasters of the Day) Rojer Chen 剛剛從義大利旅遊回來,他不但講述他的義大利旅遊經驗,還請許多會員分享自己的旅遊樂趣。Membership Vice President, Mandy Chen, 把這場例會記錄如下:

After our elegant President, Jennifer, kicked off the meeting with a short introduction of fashion, we "departed" to the country of fashion and art. Where were we, Florence, Rome, Vatican? Rojer's backpacking experience led us to visit Italy and he showed us his wonderful, amazing photos. Grazie! With Rojer's special opening, we could fully imagine that we had the cappuccino in hands, and classic paintings and gorgeous buildings in front of us.
To earn more travel money, we had to win Bryant’s Variety Session “The millionaire.” The secrets to answer the questions and win the game were luck, luck, and knowledge.

In the prepared speech session, we're fortunate to have three talented speakers--Hecate, Jennifer, and Vivy.  They brought us special occasions and life wisdom.
Speaking of Hecate’s touching Toastmasters story, she definitely deserved the award, “The Best Gardener of YZU.” As mentioned in her speech, she was sincere with every member. As her evaluator, Sandy, said, Hecate used elegant words and her content was well organized.
Jennifer’s speech was full of life wisdom. We caught her main point that everything is no problem if someone cares about your problems.
Vivy’s speech is a special surprise. Her speech objective was ROAST, and she totally caught our attraction by fusing drama into her fluent description. Her evaluator Frank gave YZU lots of support. From his evaluation, we could learn Vivy’s speech skills even more.
Raymond did a good evaluation although it was the second time he evaluated a speech. We believe Raymond can perform well in the evaluation contest on September 9.
We had three guests in this meeting: Chestor, Claens, and Selena. The Table Topic Master, Douglas, controlled the session time well. He invited the three guests to talk.  All of them spoke on stage for more than two minutes, sharing their special traveling experiences. Chestor had been to lots of countries; Claens was from Haiti and he won the Best Table Topic Speaker; Selena shared her terrible driving experience abroad. Everyone was so AMAZING!
We're happy to see Ivy this time. As the General Evaluator, she showed her confidence on stage as usual. And she found everyone’s strength in his or her performance.

元智分會YZU Toastmasters Club的例會時間是每個月第二與第四週的星期六下午2:00~4:30。有興趣參加者請點選=>與該分會聯絡
